U.S. Denies its planning for war with Iran.

en.rian.ru

WASHINGTON, September 13 (RIA Novosti) - State Department spokesman Sean McCormack has denied that Germany is opposed to a stepped-up sanctions regime against Iran, or that Washington has as a result despaired of a diplomatic solution to the standoff with Tehran.

A Tuesday report on the conservative FOX television channel claimed that Washington was preparing to bomb Iran within the next eight to nine months because of Germany's refusal to support additional sanctions against the Iranian regime over its nuclear program.

Wow Fox takes the damm cake.Got many many poeple worked up for no reason?

Whats going on here folks?Could this have been a "dry run" if you will?To see how the public reacts?I would not doubt the whole internet has been ragin wtih controversy over that latest threat. ODD

Btw i consider this website credible.I have yet to see a untrue story on it since getting a few months ago.

And here is the Fox News story for Sept 11 about war planning

Even going as far to say

Political and military officers, as well as weapons of mass destruction specialists at the State Department, are now advising Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice that the diplomatic approach favored by Burns has failed and the administration must actively prepare for military intervention of some kind

Well... the plot thickens.

Was the Fox story just an outright lie?
Why was it told?
Who put the story together?

What, exactly, is being sold to the American people?

OR

Is the Russian story a bogus attempt to make everything seem calm, thus making the US look even more monstrous if they actually go through with the attack?

That's about the only reason I could see the Russian story as spin... and that's perty weak.
My bet is on Fox lying.
Kinda a safe bet.

Again check out the other news stories on the Russian website, its a legit site. This is not bogus news.

Whats going on here.

Also the Fox news link still is working at 3:40 am on the east coast. Please throw a post up if you see the link is not working for some reason.Because reading that article it seems to have a lot of different points made for being fake.

RIA Novosti is a questionable source.

On many occasions, it has claimed the US is going to invade Iran, etc and many of the claims have been wrong in the past.

I would take it with a pinch of salt.

most are linked to the Russian state, so it's hard to find a source that doesn't spread the government's propaganda.
