How reliable is this report? Could it be Israel is trying to make a case against Syria the same way the US is trying to make a case against Iran?

ARGH NO!!!!..I had this story typed out and ready to go when i check the forums and see you just got it up right before I was going to post it. Oh
well.
Well, here are some links that may be of some interest...

Seems as though all the information I am finding is coming from the US and not Israel. I find the news blackout from the Israeli military/government
to be kind of odd. If Israel wont talk about what is going on, why is the US spilling the beans? Id like to see what people opinions are about this.
Maybe someone could explain some possible reasons for this.

If that is true, it certainly explains why Syria was not so willing to say what was hit or even that something besides desert was hit with
"munitions".
This gets more and more interesting everyday.

i really like how they include all the bad guys in one story. syria, where saddam sent his WMD's we cant find, and north korea part of the axis of
evil. and of course the base was funded by iran.
the only thing missing is al qaeda, osama and ahmadinijad holding a poker tournament at the base

Hmmm...I wonder if this evidence is as iron-clad as the Iraqi WMDs...?

...And Kim Jong Il showing up with the Cuban cigars and Hennessy!
But, seriously, this makes sense now. The initial reports that the Israeli Air Force buzzed Syrian territory, and then shot up the desert made no
sense whatsoever. It makes me wonder if there was something nuclear there, or if the Israelis ID'ed some sort of air defense apparatus and destroyed
it, and are somehow ultimately clearing a path for a future airstrike on Iran.

Good question.Mostly israel for security purposes.Although I'm sure the next leader of iran would magically be a U.S pet.So maybe some cheap oil for
U.S?And of course WEAPONS CONTRACTS.Always always collecting from wars.
