I'm sure everyone has heard about the Six nukes "accidently" flown to Barksdale Air Force Base in Louisiana. There has been many discussions here at ATS concerning how it would be possible to do this "accidently".In the end everyone generally agrees its would be impossible to do such a thing on accident.

I believe these weapons are headed to Iran and I'll tell you why.

Barksdale Air Force Base has flown over 150 missions in iraq in this latest Iraq war.

In March 2003, time finally ran out for Iraqi ruler Saddam Hussein whose regime had continually defied the U.N. for almost 13 years. Returning yet again to the deadly skies of Iraq, Barksdale B-52s flew over 150 combat sorties against military targets throughout the southern half of the country. In a lightening campaign dubbed Operation Iraqi Freedom, U.S. and Coalition military forces ousted Saddam Hussein paving the way for democracy in Iraq

So why would the military even announce such a event ever happend? To intimidate Iran I believe.Crazy ehh? Well withen 9 days the threats have increased in potency.Scary really.

First threat on September 02,07 "3 day Blitz" plan for Iran..Wich i see basically as just a threat, but still disturbing.

THE Pentagon has drawn up plans for massive airstrikes against 1,200 targets in Iran, designed to annihilate the Iranians’ military capability in three days, according to a national security expert

Then September 11,07 ,They are trying to get the legal process out of the way.

Political and military officers, as well as weapons of mass destruction specialists at the State Department, are now advising Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice that the diplomatic approach favored by Burns has failed and the administration must actively prepare for military intervention of some kindAmong those advising Rice along these lines are John Rood, the assistant secretary for the Bureau of International Security and Nonproliferation; and a number of Mideast experts, including Ambassador James Jeffrey, deputy White House national security adviser under Stephen Hadley and formerly the principal deputy assistant secretary for Near Eastern affairs.

WTF!No longer can we hope for that miracle. It looks like its going to happen. This is not a threat, this is them saying the diplomatic approach has failed?! You must understand this is much more significant then past threats. This bad bad news.

And all this the same time the nukes were flown to a base that flys missions to Iraq occasionally?Odd.

Also this Aircraft stand down coming on the 14th.This could be prepairing the aircraft and breifing the pilots on what is to come.I really hate to see this be the case but im afraid it is,and I'm pretty un easy.I firmly firmly believe a war with Iran will evovlve into something unthinkable.I will discuss this further if anyone wants to know.

Really think about this and tell me what you guys think.A lot if adding up.And the threats have reached beyond and things can start happening anytime now.I dread the next time i hear the Emergency alert system.I mean this is real folks.

****** By the way notice how it says

Political and military officers, as well as weapons of mass destruction specialists at the State Department, are now advising Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice that the diplomatic approach favored by Burns has failed and the administration must actively prepare for military intervention of some kind

WTF,a weapons mass destruction expert, and Nuclear missiles shipped to Barksdale.Sigh, sorry for getting all worked up but i have never been worried in all my years of following the worlds pulse.I am however realizing this could really happen....wow

Ya this is freaky,And the connection to the aircraft being down on the 14th weirded me out a lot.Briefing and prepairing aircraft for missions in Iran?

Finally a answer?

Im worried and I'm not a fearmongering guy,and I've known the world was a bad place for a long time heh.

Well I agree with this that diplomacy has Failed... bombing Iran may be the best course for us to take in the near future.

I certainly wouldn't be shedding too many tears if we did bomb them, even with nuclear weapons.

But I still don't think that's in the cards anytime soon.

I'm sorry, I must strongly disagree with you on this one.

Regardless of anyone's thoughts on future military engagement with Iran, I cannot accept the use of Nuclear weapons unless as a last resort in a worst case scenario.
We are nowhere near being there and to advocate mass indiscriminate slaughter is unjustifiable and any such occurence would only result in an escalation of confrontation on a world scale.

Ahh have you ever wondered why Ahmadinejad acts so foolish, and openly welcomes an attack from the worlds super power?

Few facts about Iran,China,Russia,Venezuela,

-The U.N. voted unanimously for sanctions on Iran
-Despite that Russia built Iran a nuclear reactor
-Russia later fueled that same reactor
-Russia has been supplying iran with some pretty up to date weapons ranging from anti air systems to spitfire(i believe its spitfire tired atm) missiles that can take out destroyers.
-Russia,Iran,China have held war games together
-Russia has supplied venezuela with everything from uniforms to submarines.
- Iran,Russia,China and the Shenghi 6 have all met up a discuss fighting terrorism.ha
-China has finaly finished railroad to iran despite voting for sanctions on iran
-China made a investment of a few million dollars in Iranian oil developement and we asked them not to go through with ,but they did
-China is going to store oil in reserves for iran in Chinese terroritory.just found this link heh

Vaziri-Hamaneh also vowed closer cooperation with Asia, announcing that Iran was in talks to partner with China, Indonesia, Singapore, Syria and Malaysia to build refineries with a combined production capacity of 1.1 million barrels per day.

Not to mention how much upgrading the Chinese and Russian military has been upgrading, insane.Read that link for a look at how friendly China and Iran are.I mean the relation ship is definitally there man. There is no doubt.I believe thus is why we have yet to attack iran even though they have been killing our soldiers for years now.75% of troop deaths are IEDS.

It's simple,Ahmadinejad knows he has back up,he also knows the U.S knows he has back up.Not to mention Russia threatening to turn nukes on Europe if we build our missile defense in Poland and Chezch. And we show 0 sign of slowing down.

All these are one liner googles im sure,I can get links if you won't get them yourself i spose. There is most likely much more out there to represent what a great relationship these guys have.

Seriosuly if you dont believe me they have back up go snoop around.Even U.S generals talk about it.I'm sure there are much more than i mentioned.

I will make no attempt to refute what you say.
Things are definately afoot and alliances are being made and lines in the sand are being drawn.

Even though diplomatic efforts have so far proved largely fruitless on the face of things, surely we must persevere and exhaust every available avenue before entering into even a conventional conflict.

I just can not accept or agree with nuclear strikes at present, and hopefully I never do, because the consequences will be devastating for the whole of mankind.

I completely agree.I'm saying i think even a convetional war could escalate fast with such strong monetary ties between the three. Not to mention all arming and arming eachother to the teeth.Russia announces daddy of all bombs. I mean this is on Faux's front page.Biggest non nuclear bomb.Sigh

I don't really know,I just think this all adds up to bad news. For some reason all this is has made a impact one me more than any other news stories.I mean officially saying diplomacy has failed and its time to draw up strike plans? That's a crazy developement to me.Much more potent then anything else i have heard.

You wouldn't mind vaporising millions of innocent civilians for what their government have, or haven't done yet?

If Iran is nuked, the world will end. Everyone looks to America with what to do with nuclear weapons, if they set one off then that's a free pass for everyone else to start chucking them around.

Here's the thing, every generation since World War 2 have had this threat hovering over their heads. The Cold War, Cuban Missile Crisis, Communism spreading into Europe and ours is the post 9/11 environment. Now I do agree that we are maybe closer to full blown nuclear-war than back then, but it's the simple fact that we are scared of it which makes us look at it so pessimistically.

I can see military action against Iran, but is anyone really stupid enough to use nuclear force? It would be like signing the Earths death warrant.

The US has given Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Israel $63bn in weaponry deals. Russia has given out supplies to various contries as well. We must be blind and stupid to not see what's going on. Iran is ~5 years from having any kind of nuclear weapon, what's the rush in wiping them off the map? Ooohh yeah, Bush only has till Jan. 2009 - because he doesn't trust anyone else to take care of Iran.

Most of us fell for Iraq, now they're playing Iran almost exactly word for word how they played Iraq... Don't you see it?!

Diplomacy has failed... it hasn't really even started!

If we attack Iran, it won't be a war like what we have with Iraq - No. This war will spread and become the next World War. If you wish to support that agenda, I have serious doubts of your sanity.

Is that a rhetorical question, if not then its Bush.

He believe the rapture will start when the world ends with a war started in the middle east. The morons who believe this are actually advising him on world policies.

Now thats truly scary.

Yeah, I'm ill at ease over several things and although I like to deal in facts and data, I just can't help but have a "gut feeling" that something "big" is about to happen.

The whole middle east situation, the "war on terror", increasing conflict between muslims and non-muslims, Russian posturing against the "West", Russian war games with China, China - Russian - Iran relations, Bush intolerance of anything "un-American", UK blind allegiance to US, nuclear proliferation, NWO, NAU, world population cull, increased infringement of civil liberties, 2012, etc, etc.

It just seems that the culmination of all these world events could be leading us head first into some sort of major event that may have far reaching consequences for mankind as a whole.
I know that sounds somewhat dramatic and possibly unsupportable and irrational but I for one can not shake this sense of unease and trepidation.

We cannot afford for diplomacy to fail and we must force our leaders to continue talking, even if it eventually makes me look like some sort of doomsaying crank!

I just don't want to see us go and bomb Iran and find no evidence of nuclear weapons and that they weren't llying when they the nuclear research was for peaceful purposes (since they do have a right to nuclear fuel).

We need proof that they are making nuclear weapons before bombing them. I don't want Iran to turn into another Iraq. Iran is a beautiful country with great culture.

i have no idea what to make of this.Maybe they got news of the "missing" nukes.Saw where it went and knows that base flys missions to mid east. And put the pieces together such as we did?

It's disturbing to think about,I'm shocked.Anyone know what this could be about?Putin would win an election anyway,Russians love him from what I have heard.hrmmmm

Curiousbeliever.

What, that warrants bombing them? Your troops are killing pretty much that anything that moves in Iraq, if anyone deserves to be bombed for killing other nations people, then it's America.

Those nukes... thats a worry.
Fundly enough Bush wasnt even at home when this little stuff up occured. So who within his ranks would be brason enough to try and taxi, a handful of nuclear weapons toward a exporting base on the coast?

I think there's a silent coup happening at the moment... Cheney has gathered enough men within the ranks to be able to force gw out of office.

We're going to Iran..... I honestly dont believe Bush wants to, but he's being taken for the ride.

The men in the background tried this with kennedy, to hijack control during a flashpoint, kennedy never took the bait, george did.

While Howard was toasting to the war effort with george... someone in the background tried to prepare for a major nuclear confrontation...

How was this transfer error reported?
Did some rookie at the Landing zone notice the unusual tags on these massive bombs?
Who exactly was organised to unload, and trasnfer these goodies?
There would be detailed records as to how this happened... every step would be monitored around the nuclear storage facility, did these guards mistakenly unload 6 megaton devices instead of sparrows?

You dont just ship 6 nuclear warheads so brasonly...

"I can also tell you that it's important enough that President Bush was notified of it."

There's the money line in the article on the OP,
They felt they had to admit, the president knew... but not that he was somehow involved, nor aware of any such movement.

Them specifically saying that line, says to me there's an effort behind bush, to move nukes.

Im sure you'd be killing soviets, should they invade mexico.

Ive not once my life walked the streets fearing an iranian might emerge from the bush and kill me.
So why should I go and kill him?
