The day the internet stopped.

Just a quick post, from a Brit, remembering the events of 6 years ago.

Regardless of the rhetoric and rights and wrongs of the subsequent actions and responses, the lives lost on that day should never be forgotten.

Sounds silly I know - and countless of us have stories about what they experienced on that day, for me the stand out thing was that the internet literally stopped at work while people went online to find out the latest news, and then the phones started ringing.

Truly a terrifying day.
