Wolves in Sheep's Clothing

The phrase, "Wolves in Sheep's Clothing," is a symbolic way of describing crooks, con artists, and others who have an interest in hiding the truth. The obvious meaning of this statement is that something or someone is not what it or he/she appears to be.
