I agree, and honestly I don't think it sounds like him, but what do I know I don't have the bionic ears or costly degrees to qualify my opinion

Just to play the devils advocate, a couple days ago I posted a link to a study done by an independant company in Sweden. They did a voice analysis on around 40 confirmed OBL tapes. Only half appeard to actually be OBL.

So I take the authentication with grain of salt.

That being said, even if it is him, it is nowhere near conclusive that it is current. You can cut bits and pieces of old Elvis audio together to make it say anything you want. Then "wash" the audio via telephone recordings a few times, and viola. A tape that is really difficult to detect the cuts.

Um, er, ah, so I've read. Uh, ya, thats it.

Here's a link for those of you who wonder how the tapes are obtained prior to release.

Its quite interesting that the video was posted to an unprecedented 650 websites nearly simultaneously. Have a hard time swallowing that? Look at all the upload sites they posted a much less known video to, as one example. (Links on left side). Don't worry, the links are all dead. As noted in the article, they only leave them up a short time.

the U.S. Intel tells the public that the 'tape'...what we call a video -->
'Is Authentic'...now that could mean many things---

Yeah ...

Intel has verified it is an authentic VHS ...

It worked in a VHS machine, and they were kind enough to rewind it before sending it out.

without reference, no words have meaning
