I wonder if this is related to the truck explosion?

Your right about that. This will affect the oil markets and it may not be pretty. I hope this isnt an excuse for us to guard pipelines in Mexico. We do such a good job of that in Iraq already. They get blown up there about everyday.

Looks like it's mostly just natural gas pipelines. How much natural gas does the US import from Mexico?

This I found interesting,

At least one undetonated explosive device was later found in a swampy area about 500 yards away from a highway toll booth just north of the port of Veracruz, said a Veracruz state police official who was not authorized to be quoted by name.

The official said the device was accompanied by a note signed by the EPR, but it was impossible to independently confirm.

Perhaps Jason Bourne had a hand in this.

I've reopened the thread because the truck with explosives and the pipeline attacks seem to have been separate incidents.

As I have been told in the past, Mexico deals with criminals quite a bit differently then the U.S. does. If the government takes this attack seriously, which when you combind it with the truck that exploded I think they just may, they can deal with this some what quickly and efficiently.
So the way I see it is, will the government take it seriously?
