Joseph Campbell was most elequent in describing myth, how it orignated, how it spread, and how some of the myths are common to all people. His death in 1987 at 83 years of age was a great loss - a loss still felt decades later.

I believe he would have been a kindred spirit to those who encounter UFOs. Such individuals would surely find resonance in his writings; UFOs have been with us for ages.

Funny thing about UFOs, most cannot be seen (due to ocular limitations), but they can be captured by 35 mm film and camcorder CCDs.
