What the hell gives us the right to start divying up a planet? What idiots would buy something like this?

prolly the same idiots that will buy land on the moon .

Let's say I were to buy a piece of land on Mars, how can I be sure those damn grays will stay out of my yard?

It's not so much about the fact that you can't keep greys out fo your yard, or buying the land for yourself.... it's for resale. Corps and governements want the land, and you'll be able to name the price.
