Does anyone else feel like they're just being screwed with to keep this war going? Maybe if there were some accountability of actions and people demanded to know the truth (and not just another story) we'd have some corroborating News and actual information.

It's a downright shame when you can watch 4 different "News" channels and get 4 completely different stories. Add in the fact that these "News" stations compete for ratings and have a full 24 hours of broadcasting to FILL with "News" and you should begin to wonder if it's really News we're hearing or if it's just a little information with a whole lot of opinion presented as fact.

If you've ever wondered why America is so divided or why people hold such opposite views, it's because the mass media is saturated with every possible viewpoint. For every story about Iraq, there is one contraray to it. Without accountability in Politics or in the Media, America will continue to be confused into supporting this war - which will never end because there will be a million more "June '07s" to come.

Being able to look at many differing viewpoints is a good thing. Not having enough comprehension to see how the differing viewpoints fit together isn't.
Not having a mind of your own to read behind the headlines is also not good. Unfortunately most people fit in this category.

Thinking for your own is not an easy thing. It seems like people these days will outsource everything, including thinking.
