'Spy satellite' plan draws fire on Capitol Hill

WASHINGTON--Under sharp questioning from politicians, Department of Homeland Security officials on Thursday defended a new plan to make detailed satellite images available to a broader swath of government agencies, including state and local police.

I wonder why this has not got more coverage in the national media.

One things is for sure, the US government is more subtle than other governments in regards to invade its citizens privacy, instead of setting cameras every block, they just watch us from above.

We are loosing a lot in the name of national security IMO.
