The Now THAT'S Weird Conference 2008

Topic started on 6-9-2007 @ 07:01 AM by nomadrush

Well it HAD to happen didn't it!

With all these wonderful guests that have been on my shows in the past two years, we wanted to stage a two day conference featuring the very BEST of them!

Already headlining are Profs JJ & Desiree Hurtak (The Keys of Enoch) and Paola Harris (alien bases on Earth)

The event takes place in Glastonbury England June 21st/22nd 2008.

I can also announce that I will be speaking in the USA on Feb 29th 2008 at the International UFO Congress in Laughlin Nevada.

Great, I'd love to go to this one!

I've read of the Hurtaks; they'll be worth hearing.

Paola Harris is a beautiful Italian lady and a brilliant UFOlogist. I met her at Probe back in March. Maybe you did too, Ross because you were there too. I've read both her books and they're fascinating. She's got very detailed interviews with all ther big names in the UFO research community: Robert Dean, Stephen Greer, John Lear, J Allen Hynek (the man who coined the phrase "Close Encounters of the third kind") Unlike many researchers who might do a quick one hour interview, she spends several weeks at a time interviewing her subjects. Colonel Phillip Corso, the author of "The Day After Roswell", became like a father to her. The bit in the book when she reprts his death is rather sad.

Yes Paola has become a good friend and we are now both on the Advisory Board of the Exopolitics Institute. We will both be speaking at the International UFO Congress in Nevada in Feb 2008.

Thanks for the DVD';s by the way - am working my way through them a little each night!

Of course. I remember you had Paola on the show. Her book "Exopolitics- How to speak to a ball of light?" made me think about the issue in a new way. We've always assumed that we could talk to aliens in the same we we commmunicate with other humans, but that's a big assumtion to make; and maybe that's where SETI went wrong. They assumed alien civilizations would be able and willing to pick up radio signals like we do. To talk to aliens we need to approach it without any preconceptions about how they might interpret and answer back.

I won't be able to get Nevada, but I'll be able to go to Glastonbury next year.

In my diary Ross.

And I could be jumping the gun here, but what about a ATS stand like the one at the Bay Area expo.

I would be happy to man an ATS stand

That's a great idea - ATS are you up for it?

I have actually invited Simon Gray to speak at the conference! (As he has been on the show twice now!)

I've just seen Brian Allen. He was at the Probe conference this weekend. He remembered me from when I met him last year. He's got a new book out that looks good, but I'm reading his first one before it. I intend to come to the Now That's Weird conference and he's already promised to keep a copy for me when I see him there.

Hey, we'd better book our accommodation well in advance because it's on the weekend of the summer solstice, so Glastonbury will be packed out.

Thanks, Ross.

I want to go to Probe again next spring, but I want to go to several other events as well. Seeing as I've not got a passport any more I should treat myself to plenty of trips within Britain!

Awww WoW!!

Can't believe i only just stumbled across this.

WELL DONE my man!!

I for one will DEFFINATELY be there, i've been wanting something like that to go to for a while now, but EVERYTHING seems to be in the U.S., or Newzeland...or ANYWHERE but UK.

Shame you couldn't time it for the Glasto Fest, that would have been great. Guess i'll just have to make two trips to Glastonbury next year

Can't BELIEVE you're having JJ Hurtak there, its SO hard finding out about some of his stuff online....its ALL the same "plagerised" articles over and over again.

Chambers of the Deep

This is what I want to know more about!!??

Just how true do we know this to be??

the SIRA radar was deployed in Egypt as early as 1978, mapping an extraordinary subterranean complex beneath the Egyptian pyramids. Arrangements made with President Sadat of Egypt, resulted in three decades of top secret excavations to penetrate the system. At a recent meeting in Australia, one of the key scientists on the Giza project, Dr. Jim Hurtak, showed film footage of work in progress called, CHAMBERS OF THE DEEP, due to be released at the end of the century.

The film reveals the discovery of a vast megalithic metropolis, 15,000 years old, reaching several levels below the Giza plateau. While the rest of the Nu-Age speculates about a hidden chamber under the left paw of the Sphinx, the legendary "City Of The Gods", lays sprawled beneath. Complete with hydraulic underground waterways, the film shows massive chambers, the proportions of our largest cathedrals, with enormous statues, the size of the Valley of the Nile, carved in-situ. Researchers, risking their lives with lights and cameras, carefully negotiated rubber dinghies across subterranean rivers and kilometer-wide lakes, to penetrate sealed chambers beyond. Already, remarkable caches of records and artifacts have been found.

Thankyou again, I'm REALLY looking forward to this event.

FLAGGED!!!!!

More UK citizen need to know about this, and i don't think this forum gets as much traffic as other forums. Anyway you could get the ATS admin to make a "banner ad" for the main page?

Just an idea

Peace
AoN

Funnily enough the Glastonbury Festival is the week after - so if you plan your trip right you could attend BOTH!

Our conference is over the Summer Solstice weekend, the best weekend of the year to be in Glastonbury!

This is going to be THE CONFERENCE of 2008!
