TEHRAN (Reuters) - Clerics picked Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani on Tuesday to lead a powerful Iranian government body, in a boost for the former president who wants better ties with the West and a blow to President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

Though a vircory for the reformist,, and Ahmadinejad being opposed more and more.
Maybe this Ahmadinejad is more of an Al Shahaf[remember this hero of propaganda in the Iraqi war \'03 ] and the experts and wise men know, that a war is really not in their interest and a more moderate approach is more proper at this point..

Cool heads in Iran are meaningless..........Prez Amadingdong has the intent to bring back the 12 Imam. He will bring on a nuke attack as soon as possible. It is the basis of his twisted "faith".

His has told the world his intent. The world needs to listen.

This is good news, but will Iran bow to the will of her people and let democracy rule the future?

Well no much for democracy in Iran, you know, when the clerics are the ones choosing the candidates.

After all we all know who the real power in Iran is after all.

It kind of remind me how here in America our two elite parties work, as long as the people have the feeling that they chose the candidates and exercises their right to vote everything seems, feel and smell sweet.
