My Spybot S&D keeps freezing

Everytime I try to run Spybot search and destroy it freezes at the the exact same spot with the same file being searched "C2.lop"

I unistalled Spybot and reinstalled it and the same thing happened.

Is there a chance I have a virus that causes spybot to freeze up?

Any help here would be appreciated.

Same has happened to me and when i tried to download the latest updates..

It can happen, don't worry.

1) Be sure that you're not running another application.
2) Do you have the last database update ?
3) Just wait. SSD is not freezing. It's just checking your system and it can take some time, especially with the C2.lop .




I had the same problem. The european server was not responding so I tryed with the US server. It has fixed the problem.
