Police Use Tazer On Women who is 8 months pregnant

I agree with your remarks but I really do not think they apply in this case. From what I read the women was not acting "Big and bad" she was trying to break up a fight between her child and another teenager at the time that she was tazed. The comments from the officer are that he "THOUGHT" she was going to hit him. He didn't say that she did hit him, or even that she motioned like she was going to hit him. Just that he THOUGHT she would.

Wow,some of the comment's in this forum about a pregnant mother being
hit with a weapon of any kind, are sick!!
If this is the best judgement this officer could make,he's not someone
who deserve's the power placed in his hand's!!
I have some very good friend's who serve as police,they feel it was an
awful choice to make.

To the original post, if the woman had assaulted the police officer in any way, fair enough, he would have had to, but for something small and silly, its rediculous.
