Immunity for Telecomm Companies

I apologize if this has been discussed.

Watching the news today I heard about President Bush making a request to Congress to pass a law to block lawsuits brought by private citizens that feel that their right might have been violated, i never heard of this but then I found this Washington Post article dated May 04, 2007. Another one of those Friday news article, if you know what I mean.

IMO opinion this would sent a bad precedent, it would just give the government lot of more power to invade our privacy.

By the time Bush is done everyone and there mommas will have immunity or invoke executive privildge.
