A Public Abasement

I've never been a person that hides when I'm even slightly in the wrong.
I've always stood up and took my lumps.

I recently posted a thread that could have been construed as being critical of staff or impugning their integrity,
this was not my intention

There was a culmination of events that left me frustrated and which I blew up out of proportion.

In any community or society, there are rules.
We may not like or understand them, but they are there nonetheless, even if they conflict with what we are trying to say.
Rules are there for are reason, or even for a reason within a reason.

In any society or community there is a need for rules and control, otherwise you have anarchy
and I'm sure we don't want that here.

I am appreciative and humbled by the help and understanding, that was projected; not just by staff but by members as well.

I have to say that I am sometimes a little intimidated by staff, and am not able to express myself as I would like, but that's my issue, and I'll deal with it in the appropriate way - with politeness, with understanding and without prejudice.

That said,
if I've caused any offense, then I apologise unreservedly.

Now I'll take my lumps - and feel free to give them.

Life happens man, there are misunderstandings, disagreements, etc. Don't stress it. If there's a happy ending that's all that matters.

I think every member that has made a few posts on ATS wishes they could take something back, it happens. That damn "EDIT" button goes away much too soon, I rarely have time to sober up before my post become a permanent record in the archives of ATS.
