What are you referring to that will be demonstrated over the next 11 games? The officiating?

If so, I don't think it was necessarily an anti-Green Bay approach more than it was a pro-Chicago way of officiating. You can't really have the NFC Super Bowl team starting off 1-4 and having Detroit and Green Bay running away with the division. That doesn't look good.

I don't expect that type of officiating to occur in Green Bay games from here on out. But I do think the Bears got a gift.

I think you make an excellent point, and there has been little talk of how his replacement played. He snaps were slow and inconsistent on snaps when Favre was in the shotgun, especially during the final drive, it probably limited Favre's ability to audible because the center is so important in calling out assignments right before the snap. Hopefully Wells is out only next week. The following by week is coming at a good time.

No one's a bigger Packer fan than me, but that second half concerned me immensely. Washington is going to be a real test of how good the Pack really are.

Nice to see that the Vikings beat the Bears. They can just keep knocking each other down, and the Lions will knock themselves down.

I'm predicting a division win for the Packers

I'd like to see the "experts" comment on this game. They claimed Favre would do nothing against Washington - they were right. They claimed Green Bay can't run the ball - they were right. So they claimed Washington would win this because of those two things - ERRRRRR WRONG!

The D played awesome. They gave up some bad plays, but overall, great game.

The Pack D really stepped up in the second half. They were sorely needed. If they could find somebody that can cover a tight end, they would really be exceptional.

Brett was lucky the Redskins' D backs couldn't hang on to the ball. A couple of those deep floaters down the sidelines were BAD.

That being said, he got screwed out of two TD passes as it was pretty clear that Franks was forced out in the corner of the end zone, and the holding call on Tauscher was non-existent on the other TD throw.

Barnett had a great game, great effort on the fourth down stop. Pickett was also exceptional.

Aaron Kampman is the James Brown of the NFL. He's the hardest working man in football. So close all game, and he just kept going full blast every play. Payed off big time with the two sacks near the end.

I love him, but not in an uncomfortable too many posts Social Issues Forum thread kind of way.

As far as the Bears/Vikings game, it seems Adrian Peterson, the Vikings Adrian Peterson not the Bears Adrian Peterson, is one hell of a football player. It's classic that former Packer Ryan Longwell booted a 55 yarder to win at the buzzer.

Yeah that holding call on Tauscher was awful. I've seen much worse than that not called.

Kampman was huge...again. I think he's way underrated. He brings so much whether he's getting to the quarterback or not. I don't think I've ever seen him just give up on a play. He's always running, always moving, always going after the ball.

And yeah, Adrian Peterson was huge. In my fantasy league, the guy that has him didn't start him I'd be sick if I didn't start him and he had a performance like that.
