I'm probably gonna kick myself in the ass for not taking the Pats here. But I can't seem them continuing to beat teams by more than two scores, week in and week out.

We'll see how it goes.

Go Packers!

I hear you...but I got scared off by that *$#@ 16-point spread last week so I'm trying a different tactic: until they don't beat a team by two scores, I'm going with the Pats.

Pure garbage. The Bears are awful. They get everything handed to them by the refs, Green Bay gets a timeout taken away for no reason, they force five turnovers to Green Bay's one, and they still only "win" by a touchdown.

They're trash.

Mike McCarthy is a moron. His play calling and clock management is just awful.

The referees did everything they could to give this to Chicago. That "force out" touchdown? I'd like to know how the hell they determined that. Olsen's foot wasn't going to come down in bounds. Have we sunk to just making assumptions now?

How about the 700 penalties compared to Chicago's 3 or what ever the hell it was? Chicago committed ALOT more than 3, I can tell you that.

Green Bay, there at the end, challenged the spot of the ball. They moved the spot of the ball back. Even though it was a first down still, that's a won challenge. So now we take away timeouts even if the challenge is won?

Absolutely awful. The Bears suck. I hope they enjoy their garbage win. They can rest assured that they're only going to win about two more games the rest of the season, then the hard work is done.

I should have saved this rant for tomorrow because the combination of being tired, frustrated, and coming off one of the most piece of crap games I've ever seen isn't exactly a great combination.

Gifts and Mike McCarthy. That's what this loss was about. Watch the Packers go into some downward spiral after this, and we hear in the media how great the Bears are - the Bears that gave up 34 points to the Lions in one quarter.

Pure garbage.

EDIT: Oh, I forgot to give James Jones his dues too. What a loser. Hold on to the damn ball.

Coming from another die hard Pack fan, the challenge was that it wasn't a first down. Even though the ball was moved back a few inches, it still wasn't a first down, thus they lost the challenge. I too was screaming at the television when that one played out, and you could just tell exactly where it was going.

I can handle a loss, but that one just didn't taste good at all.

Im sure the Bills are thinking the same, though, not from a bad call so to speak.

What a monday night game. WOW!

They didn't even move it back far enough either. On the replay, his knee came down, with his body pretty much vertical, about a yard short. Instead, they marked the ball a half yard ahead of the first down, then after the challenge, just moved that back to the first down marker, instead of a yard back where it should have been.

Maybe I'm just a pissed off Packers fan, but it really seemed like the refs tried to give that game to the Bears. Yeah, the Packers screwed up in some areas; the interception, Jones' two fumbles, some of those penalties etc., but like you said, that one just didn't taste right.

I can admit when they lost - that Eagles game was more of not losing more than it was beating Philadelphia. That game was awful and they played awful.

But this Bears game...it just doesn't seem right. It seems like the Bears had a few more players on the field in black and white stripes.

When you turn the ball over FIVE TIMES you lose the right to complain about the ref.

Heck, as a Pack fan I was encouraged that they only lost by seven. As a rule, you turn the ball over that much and you're getting SMOKED.

(Unless you're playing Buffalo, of course.)

The ref's seem to be making rules up as they go now. Remember late in the Monday night game? Dallas driving late and they get 20 yd reception and then get up and spike the ball. Noooooooooooo the refs go back and review the reception even though a play after that got off. That's WRONG. Once the next play gets off, the previous play is OVER.

That being said, here's my picks:

I'm not excusing their turnovers. But if there is the need to complain, I'm going to complain. The officiating was awful.

I'm also complaining because I'm sick of hearing people talking about the Bears being back and all that BS. They aren't back. They're still garbage. It's very pathetic that 12 penalties and five turnovers occur, and they only win by 7.

That's some bitter whine to go along with cheese-head...

It's one game, and if what you say is true, it will be clearly demonstrated over the next 11 games. The injury to Scott Wells is key to Green Bay's success or failure over the next few games.
