So, I'm a slave to the people of the UK. Ya know, for being a slave, I've got it pretty good. I'm sure slaves of the past weren't so well off.

Though, there is no evidence to support the theory that I must be subjected to the kind of bickering and mindlessness that goes into some of these posts. Yet I choose to slave and filter through all the bitterness so that I may, at some point, collect a few drops of "truth".

Seriously. The story is interesting enough. It doesn't have to be reality-it's the reaction that is deciding whether these theories should be true. When people start acting foolish and putting each other down based upon their opinions, then it makes me realize why they must hide so much information.

They have a hard enough time believing the plethera of "knowledge" they've discovered. People here gather small snippets of it and go ape-s*** over the thing.

My user name is misleading, its a reference to a Rush lyric, I tried 15 lord of the rings references when I registered, some very obscure, but they were all taken.
I was listening to rush that day, thought some of their themes matched threads here, so I thought if that one off the top of my head.
Eaters of the dead is a reference to a michael crichton book about neadertals possibly living in England only 1,000 years ago.

anyway, what bank on this earth would take human lives as collateral form a nation that just got its but kicked in battle ? How could the bank ever collect if the loan is defaulted ?

But, I do suspect wrong doing in connection with taxes and the IRS. The IRS runs similar to a crime organization. Mess with the IRS and see if you don't get figuratively "slaughtered." That's not to say they can't be beaten, you just need to be prepared if you do battle them.

Side note: I see people here arguing back and forth about being British, and being American, and the "flaws" and "superiorities" therein. Enough with that, we're human beings first and foremost. I live in America and you live in Britain; I don't care about geographical location. Are we supposed to dislike each other because of this?
