What was this light I saw in my kitchen?

Hi people, can anyone shed a little light on this please?

The other night I was in my kitchen, my brow and crown centers were active (as they usually are lately) and I felt a slight yet very noticable sensation in my forhead, a very small feeling, right on the front.

This sensation lasted not even half a second but simultaneousely a ball of very bright silvery white light appeared about four feet infront of me, I'd say about five feet above the ground. It shot downwards about two feet hitting a piece of paper on the desk below it knocking it off. The light disappeared the instant it hit the paper.

Anyone got any ideas?
