I just dont think America would be silly enough to attack Iran.

Even President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad knows this , but then again it could be a massive one off surprise attack on Iran.

"There is in no way the possibility of such an attack by the United States. Even if they take such a decision they cannot implement it," he told a news conference. "They have to solve the question of Iraq and Afghanistan."

Well if the US military really did something like this Iran would be toast. The US would be smart enough to obliterate anything resembling an Iranian military during such a strike. Any real problems would arise if the US sent in ground units to try an occupation. We all know how well that's going in Iraq...

But yeah, this would be a stupid geopolitical move. Muslims everywhere would probably become militants.

one sided and bias supporting the us doesnt even mention iranian counter attacks dont think so there army would be crushed in 2hours its all bs to me iran will stand and fight and use of nuclear weapons whats with that do you want every muslim to hate you?

Correction: People everywhere would become more militant. You think the likes of Chavez would pass the chance to galvanize more people to be anti- US/Allies/whatever-noble-name-have-you? Three countries invaded within a decade, that would be argument enough to show what a threat to world peace the US is.

Maybe. Unless that's the plan, that everyone hates the US, ask for a more powerful UN, just like after WW1 and WW2 to stop wars. Surrending every army in the world to the UN so we can avoid war. Which is a false hope because the elites are on both sides creating these wars, exemples: Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Saddam, Iran, Paul Pot, Ho Chi Ming, Castro... all made-up threats for war, money, killing, more UN control.

Something tells me that there 'counter attack' wont have a chance if the above quoted excerpt is true.

Do not, I repeat DO NOT, underestimate Americas ability to wage a conventional war and come out on top 10 out of 10x.

Iraq was shock and aw!!. If we bomb Iran it should be called operation Momma gonna break your jaw!!
On a serious note. Egypt and Saudi Arabia are trying to work on nuke programs to counter Iran so If we take out the Iranian nuke threat and in the same time punish their military for sticking their noses in Iraq. The region would be safer (hopefully) but I doubt it.
It would be nice to take out the Islamics that run that country so the Persians can take it back.

Some folks are mistaking a strike on Iran as an Invasion of Iran which are two totally different things. The US is not going to send in ground troops. Iran's nuclear program and much of its military can be absolutely decimated without having to put one boot on the ground. Our troops may be in Iraq, but we are still manufacturing missles and bombs around the clock as well as the means to deliver them.
