A small fact: Did you know that if the UK did join the Euro to begin with, the European Central Bank, or whatever its called, would of been held in london?

The problem with joining the Euro is we would give up control of our own central bank, and our own interest rates.

thats why i don't like the idea

I sometimes wonder why Blair is even pushing the idea.. As Michael Moore said, he's a smart guy, he really should know better!

{edit : and I didn't know about the original plans for an locating an EU central bank in London. It's wouldn't have given us any more control though)
