Uk Gov. plan to create database of all children from 2008

www.timesonline.co.uk

Senior social workers have given warning of the dangers posed by a new government register that will store the details of every child in England from next year.

They fear that the database, containing the address, medical and school details of all under-18s, could be used to harm the children whom it is intended to protect.

The government plow ahead with their desire to collect information on all children, softening them up for the ID card.
Oh-but its not all children...The database will not include the details of celebrities and politicians children!
Which is basically admitting the information will not be secure enough for the elite to be included.
I think the current obsession with knowing everything possible about anyone, especially children is just not what Britain should be about.
This is government treating the population as a commodity, and disregarding the privacy of its people. They will as usual do this in such a way that the information they collect will act as a money making tool for them,by selling details to advertisers, and targeting certain groups with pharmaceuticals.
Who agrees/disagrees with this latest attempt to collect such data?
