I live in Orlando ( lived here all my life 32 years) and repeatedly go to Hillsborough...never heard of it. MacDill another story. Some more info...be more than happy to check it out.

I have lived in Ft Lonesome for 40 years and still do. Just came across this topic thread. The only thing even close to what you are descfribing is a weather radar center / airplane radar facility out here. Name a specific road, and I will tell you whats there.

DMJ.... While I am not thrilled with you demanding instead of asking for the coordinates, I researched it anyway; for the benefit of others. I could not find the site on google earth nor on google maps. It may be that they removed the facility for mining purposes. I used to be able to see it from the road, I havent paid close attention to it in recent years. However, It was huge. It was way out in the woods, you could only see it from a distance, barley towering above the trees. I am going to try and post a picture of it. Like I said, it was a weather radar / airplane beacon. I will look for it this weekend from the road. If it is still there, I will try to figure out how to get to it and provide some coordinates. I did read that it was protected by the military. Something to do with NORAD.

I rode the entire area on my days off. The facility is no longer there. Its all being mined...

I am the OP of this thread and soon after I started this thread I didnt get on ATS for awhile. I decided to bring this back up because I didnt know anything about that radar facility and had no idea it had anything to do with NORAD, thats holds merit to my story...i know some of you thought it was a lie or bs, but that proves since the gentlemen said that facility was in fact guarded by the military. Like I said when i visited the area I was 17, and when I started this thread it was 2007 and I was 24 or 25, now im soon to be 28. I have always wanted to go back there and see if there is anything out there still. But from what has been said on here and from people I know, I think whatever it was is gone. The thing is though what happened to us that night was real. I have no idea how we didnt get caught but feel real lucky that we didnt. We were scared...hell when you see military people looking for you and helicopters searching it gets kinda scary. So I think in the next couple of weeks I might take a trip out there for old time sake just to snoop around. If you know anything about this place let me know. Also I know they were mining uranium out there also....didnt know if any of you knew that.

I have no clue what that is. But to me just looks like fencing for livestock or something.
