Definately. That's the thought I had initially reading this thread. There are as many people out there that have no life, and live for derailing sites like this one. People my age, I'm 21, either don't give a h00t about the Govt. or other issues and would rather dive into consumerism and the rediculous shows on MTV (and holding the latter in very high regard).

As long as there are people like all of you here on ATS, there may still be hope.

I would recommend possibly saving some vital info to a memory stick or printing out some info etc. You never know.

I feel like the thread is losing a bit of focus though. What I need now is for people to look at the outline I put together earlier. Let me know what you all think. I need constructive criticism now more than anything else.

I think it is time to put all of this together and to build some form of document out of it.

It's odd that there is more and more talk about New Orleans, granted it's the Katrina aniversary, but it reminded me a program on FX probably 2-3 months before the summer of 2005. The show was called "Oil Storm", and was a mockumentary about what would happen to the US if a large hurricane hit the gulf coast, mainly in the areas where oil is processed and sent around the country. I remember thinking "wow, that's not possible." Then boom, Katrina happens. And everything they stated in that "movie" happend to the economy: gas prices skyrocketing, thousands displaced, a major area of the US completely destroyed.

That in mind, I'm wondering if any shows or speculation to "terrorism/attacks" were going around prior to 9/11. I do know that all the military type shows on the History Channel would always talk about how the next war will take place in an urban environment and be very un-conventional.

P.S.-this is from a thread that Janastar (sp) started about Wanta. Thought it could be of use here as well. BTW, its my own text, not from someone else.

However, interesting as this is i think this is a bit off-topic.

This thread draws attention to some put options that have bet a huge amount of money on a massive downturn in the economy before the end of September. This sounds very weird and ominous to me. When people bet this much money it looks an awful lot like a smoking gun to me. It would seem that there is a certainty, based on this that something big is going to happen very soon.

The ordinary analysts' tendancy would be to relate this to the liquidity crunch, downturn in the housing market, Federal Reserve Bank decisions, etc. but we aren't the ordinary analysts are we? WTF is going on?

Don't know about the rest of you, but I have begun to experience pc probs. Don't know that they are related to this site or material in any way. But I've been bumped off the internet several times throughout the night, and I'm on DSL. I was on yahoo mssngr with a friend and it kept getting turned off and on. I was discussing some of the things here, in reference to pre 9/11. Then at one point I couldn't get back on at all. It took me quite a bit of tweaking. It was of enough concern that I sent a u2u to TruthWithin, just in case I get bumped permanently. It might behoove us all, to back up all important info, just in case.
Like I say, don't know that this is related, but don't know that it's not. I've never had a prob like this. If any of you have any suggestions, I could use them. I'm having to use a virtually unknown web browser just to stay connected.

I haven't been bumped off the internet but I did notice a policeman pointing a radar gun at me as I drove through town yesterday.

Coincidence? Or am I being singled out because I've recently joined this Forum?

I might be a newbie on ATS, but I'm not a novice when it comes to computers. I can take them apart manually and put them together again, just for the joy of doing it. So, I'm really not in the mood for clowning!!

You have another nation in mind - outside of Red China - that has been building up its military for many years and has openly boasted that their missiles can hit every American city?

First would come the missiles...then would come the bombers.

Washington DC is preparing to endure an air strike by virtue of the fact that they are calling in an artillery (not infantry) battalion.

Has anyone looked into closures on possible target for "maintance" in the last week or so? That might something to look at coming up. If people living near by the Sears Tower or the G.W. bridge or any other landmark for unusal activity, that might lead us to the where part of the attack.

I'd always assumed that since Silverstein bought the Sears Tower that there must be daily inspections of elevator shafts, wiring spaces above acoustic tiles and the parking garages and penthouse utility rooms, just as a matter of ordinary feral self preservation, by the tenants. Is that not happening?

IDK, I just remember hearing about closures at the WTC a couple of weeks before 9-11 so I thought that people need to keep their eyes peeled on unusal maintance. I would look at bridges to because of want happened in MI. They could pass off "maintance" as a safety precaution. Look for some sort of activity at major or historical bridges.

Star City Casino in Sydney has been receiving some kind of renovation over the last month or so. The workers have been there for a LONG time it seems and VERY LITTLE work appears to have taken place.

As i said, i'd say its nothing, but just to put it out there.....


Also, is anyone putting work in to this project? Just curious if we are moving forward with this on any real level? I think we all need to pitch in and help, but someone needs to help out and take that first step. I am a journalist and am more than happy to help from an editing stand-point if needed (if time and work load permits)

This afternoon, over St Pete, Florida, there was a military aircraft that flew so low that it shook the house. This is an urban area. We live across from Macdill, but even during airshows I have never felt a plane sooo close. I ran outside to find it and it was so low all I could see was a smoke trail and it was gone....gone....you could still actually hear it and it was hauling ass. no sonic though, sometimes you could hear the F-16's over Tampa Bay but this was different.

Is there anyone else in the Tampa area who has noticed more activity at CENTCOM/SOCOM? Usually you see buildup with refuelers.

same thing in NJ. all commercial planes are flying below then normal. Mind you i live a little far from Newark air port.

Second, the military helicopters and jets have been probing the area. I want a retraining order on the choppers. they make the dogs bark.

I live near the Manchester, NH airport and while I haven't noticed any unusual military aircraft activity, I have noted that commercial jets have been coming in much lower and directly over my house over the past few weeks.

Don't see how this is related but figured I'd offer the info.

sir i think there is a strong connection there. Due to the differences in pressure with height a plane is flying in. Why would they waste more energy running lower? Could this be due to the new military presence? Could this be attributed to UFO traffic above the planes invisible to the naked eye? or is it something else?

Sounds like they are landing to aviod a shoulder mounter SAM strike? Remember the onw found and nothing ever said about it? They do that when flying into Bagdhad going real low. I have noticed it at TIA the last few weeks also.
