Republican senator arrested for disorderly conduct

Sen. Larry Craig, R-Idaho, was fined earlier this month for a misdemeanor disorderly conduct charge stemming from his arrest in June at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, according to Minnesota criminal records.

While the criminal records did not provide details of why Craig was arrested, Roll Call newspaper reported Monday that he was apprehended by a plainclothes police officer investigating complaints of lewd behavior in an airport men's room.

Oh boy, here we go again?

Senator Craig denies any wrongdoing and says he shouldn't have pled guilty and paid the $500 fine.

Hindsight is 20/20.

I wonder if there is a pun intended there?

You know? It would seem that there is something to be said for public officials in public restrooms lately. Oddly enough, hindsight would seem a common denominator with regards to their later regrets.

Wasn't it just a week or so back that another was charged with "solicitation"? Of course, in that case, he later claimed it a result of being askeered of a black man.

Where's yeahright when you need him?
