Paralysed girl faces uncertain future

news.bbc.co.uk

Two therapists at the Alyn Children's Hospital in Jerusalem are helping her.

Maria cannot kick her legs or even feel the water she's floating in. She is permanently attached to a ventilator.

Maria was paralysed from the neck down by an Israeli rocket attack in May 2006.

The missile was aimed at a leader of the armed Islamic Jihad movement, who was killed outright.

the israelis were targeting miltants but also hit the innacent bystanders which killed her brother and mother.

she was paralysed neck down and has lost all hope of supporting her self so requires 24/7 medical care and support,

what i find intresting is the fact that the israeli defence department wants to deport her to a gaza hospital which has no hope of supporting her so its certain death.

even the doctors at the israeli hospital are worried about her safety.

in my opinion they destroyed her life
the least they could do is ensure that she has a life

Well, to be honest I feel that maybe racism runs rampant in Israel (not every where of course, but the majority) just as much as it does in Gaza/Arabic countries.

Deporting her to Gaza shows the hate in my opinion. "Meh, you all take her, we could care less." But of course, that could be just my simpleton outlook on the situation.

Peace,
