Who produced the Blackbird?

HA! i remember now something, pure stupidity, when i was in gradeschool a kid showed me a pic of the SR-71 blackbird in a spy book and said that the engines had that black shielding cause it made itself more stealth that way, so it wouldnt be detected. I believed it for about another 3 years when i found out it had the shape nor the technology at the time to be stealth, but i did fall in love with the aircraft, VERY BEautiful.
