I am pretty sure the current Dalia Lama was 'selected' from a group of boys yeah. Which is absurd, I would think, since the Dalia Lama supposedly is a divine incarnation himself. What's the KMT?

KMT is the nationalist who lost the Chinese civil war and retreated to Taiwan (ROC). The Civil war is technically on going.. since no MOU, Treaty or amistice was ever signed... constitutionally each is claiming each other as the sole ruler of China.
