Questions linger after missing Woman found

A woman missing from east Tennessee was found in Texas, but she doesn't know how she got there.

"I remember stopping and getting gas and a drink and then driving to the airport in New Orleans, and those are the only things I remember," said amnesia victim Stacy Forbes.

Forbes disappeared from Lake City at the beginning of July and mysteriously turned up lying on a sidewalk in Dallas on July 18.

Am I the only one wondering what's going on? This is wierd.
Sounds like an X file to me, or some one playing silly buggers...

I don't think this is really that weird.

People lose chunks of time when they black out (drinking or drugs).

This is very very common in people with multiple personality disorder too.

The article pretty much says they don't know much of her background. She could well be an alcoholic, or an addict, or have multiple personalities.

Also, if something dramatic happened to her - say she was kidnapped and held for a while until her captor(s) grew bored with her... well, mayber her defense mechanism in dramatic times is amnesia.

Of course, maybe she was kidnapped by aliens and they erased her memory and returned her to earth. I don't believe that, but if we're listing the many maybes...

Oooo....I have an idea! Maybe she's got some kind of manchurian candidate thing going on. The government is using her for all sorts of little tasks and then they wipe her memory when she's done.
