11 11, it may be a laser but.... what about all the orbs seen near circles?
What are the orbs there for if they use a laser???

I saved the gif ooff the BBC site and opened it up in an animation program to take a look at the individual frames.

When I watch the footage quiclky back and forth, I can see the shapes of what look like people streaking about the lower left hand side - following the tracks in the crops leading to the pattern.

These people may be the investigators - but it sets off alarm bells in my head.

(apologies for any typo's - its very late!).

Just want to see if this works - this is my attempt to track the 'people' I think I can see in the gif.

I spend a lot of my time at work trying to tack down vandals on the cctv - I think I'm getting the hang of tracking movements through bad tape - either that or I'm going nuts!

Each colour represents seperate people (seem to be in pairs) - I can see I've missed a few possible people - watching the gif now - never mind.

I've uped the brightness on each frame too,
