Tokyo Calls For Ban
On Sale Of Used
Schoolgirls' Underwear

By Colin Joyce
The Telegraph - UK
1-15-4

"Japan has been troubled for more than a decade by teenage prostitution, which girls euphemistically call 'compensated dating'... [It] is recognised as a nationwide phenomenon, with girls often using the money to buy goods such as Burberry scarves and Louis Vuitton handbags."

TOKYO -- Officials in Tokyo yesterday sought to stop men buying schoolgirls' used underwear as the city tackles teenage prostitution.

By-laws will be amended to prohibit sex shops from buying underwear and other clothing from girls under 16 for resale to men.

Maybe America is not the most A-moral nation?

I think that the law was created backwards. It should have included jail for any man who would by schoolgirl underwear.

What could you possibly do with....wait....please don't answer.....

I claim knowledge of this from time in Japan and not interest in the subject matter.

The product was available through vending machines in a plastic tube. 10-15 years ago schoolgirls would never deliver the merchandise, it was mature women.

There are potential legal cases everywhere if you want to see it that way, including for misleading advertising.

This is not atypical of the culture, it's actually not regarded as too much of a big deal. Is that weird? It goes along with ultraviolent manga and whiskey bars and geisha girls and pachinko parlors and mass merchandising gone rampantly wild.

And the country is far less violent (crimes against women or men) than the USA.

Why is that?

Maybe cause it's a more diverse culture(s)
I don't know really, just a guess.
Used Panites in a vending machine? Thats hilarious

Didn't the Japenese recently get the Chinese panties in a bunch by having an orgy during some summit or something, and demand an apology?
I guess they are verry sexual people

No doubt, Japan has got more than it's fair share of wacked out sex ideas..... Ever see those Uncensored Channels productions, or Shock Video? Hell, their game shows make some of our porn look tame, hehe....

America is actually rather prudish when it comes to sexuality...compared to most other nations... I think others have got it right...censor extreme violence more than sex....

I wonder if Mikey Jackson has a collection of "school boy panties"?

I spent a week in okinawa at Kadena AFB, (insert sarcasm here) so I guess that makes me an expert.(end sarcasm)
One thing I noticed from that short stay and of course books and movies and other media is that Japanese culture is very "man-centric"...
the styles and fashions for females seem to focus around that school-girl theme quite a bit.
Apparently the men like'em young in Japan and if they aren't young, they like them to at least look that way.

But this used panty thing is disgusting - I equate that to some female craving the smell of some guy's stinky socks...
SICKOS!
