excellent thread IsaacKoi ,

i was always fascinated by photographs of supposed aliens and there a select few that are worth a better look at , but imo 99% of them are fakes.

i truly believe that if a real photo did arise it would be censored and confiscated. i do applaud your effort in trying to filter the truth to these photo's.

i was wondering what you thought about this picture of a drawing from a tomb in Egypt.

i was not going to post this because its not a photograph but then i thought well they didnt have camera's back then and this would be a way for them to photograph what ever it was back then.

i have always wondered about this and thought maybe you could shed some light on it.

Hello RiotComing. You very much impressed me today. I love it when someone surprises me like that. I really thought at first that you were attacking Isaac, but your second post was much more clear, and I wanted to take a moment to comment on what a great post I think it was.

In the middle, you said this:
"While I do think that is a fair point, I do absolutely think that your personal opinion is important in this case. Why? I know you believe in the need for clarity and the concern of unreferenced data presented as fact within ufology. In the case of these ET photographs.. scores of photographs.. I feel that unless you sincerely believe that a good percentage of the pictures are genuine, then one has to question if it is a responsible thing to post up so many links - in my opinion, that is spreading disinformation - and ultimately, damaging to ufology. In my eyes, it makes you no different to people like James Casbolt who have bourne the brunt of such accusations in recent times on his humble web site. I don't mean any offence, I think JC has some thought-provoking stuff among the chaff in his collection. The point is, it's a mixed bag, and ufology sorely needs clarity and direction as you well realise."

I absolutely agree with you, I'd also love to know what Isaac thinks, but I also agree with Isaac, that it's unimportant really. I also don't think that spreading this information counts as spreading dis-information.

I'll explain.

What I find TRULY important, is that Isaac always links his information.
In fact, he's so organized and open with his resources that I think he might be my favorite member here at ATS.

Recently I undertook a similar task to the one Isaac is presenting here. You can read the thread here:
www.abovetopsecret.com...

Internos, the picture you reference has a report in this thread.

In the thread, I constantly faced the same question from ATS members, who were convinced I was trying to spread disinformation. I was not, and I don't believe that Isaac is either.

What I've learned by reading many of Isaac's posts is that he's a researcher. He collects data, and passes it on. This sort of work, in my view, is vital in the UFO community.

In my own thread, which by the way Isaac I hope you check out for research in your project here (and feel free to use ANY of it in any way you see fit)... in that thread I provide links to the source for each picture, and also links to the ATS Threads that discuss/debate each image. Most entries are images or video.

Anyway, my point is that if we all have such threads, with linking and sourcing and facts involved, we can all share our knowledge base. That way when someone who hasn't seen a picture before gets curious, he/she can find the source data for it easily.

It isn't spreading dis-information, it's just spreading information, complete with sources (In Isaac's case, and certainly in my own). I feel that the UFO community should have a common knowledge base about the known frauds too, and we should know who how and why, on the record.

Anyway, I just wanted to present another view. Well met!

As my comments in the initial post of this thread indicated, I'm well aware that most of the websites mentioned in that post are FAR from perfect. For example, my comments on the first website included the following: "Many of the pictures are not accompanied by any text. Some of the pictures are accompanied by text, but that text is generally rather imaginative/sensational and has little to do with the real stories behind the pictures. Several of the pictures are in fact of “aliens” from famous science fiction movies or television programmes, plus various known hoaxes from various sources".

That was hardly an endorsement of the contents of that website...

If you are aware of websites which contain collections of photos of "aliens" with more accurate information, please let us know.

Such links would be extremely useful in finalising the article I mentioned in the initial post of this thread. I've been working on the relevant article for the last few years, and it reveals the true stories behind quite a few popular videos and photos of "aliens" and "UFOs".

If websites already covered all this information, I would not be bothering putting so much time and effort into writing the relevant article - which I hope to finish shortly (work permitting)...

Kind Regads,

Isaac

It was over a year ago so my memory of it is a bit off so here's the description I gave last year: The picture is of an alien body, presumably dead or sick. It did not look like a Grey or Reptillian or any other familiar alien. It was very pale and looked almost human like... except there was absolutely no nose. You could only see the head and possibly neck, the head was resting on a towel if I remember correctly. I don't think the photo was in black and white. I think the eyes were closed and there was something unusual about the ear, but I don't remember what exactly. I found the picture sometime between June to November 2006 using Morpheus searching for alien or UFOs. I tried searching morpheus again and I couldn't find it.

My brother also saw it and I asked him what he remembers about it and he said exactly the same thing.
