Cannibal Holocaust .... WHAT.

OK, that is a movie that just cant be remade, it would be stupid, in no way could it possibly live up to the original, it would just be a gored down, hollywooded up version of the movie, I for one, will never watch that, as Cannibal Holocaust is one of my favorite movies of all time.

Ya I'd like to see where you got this list as well. I find it hard to believe that there are that many remakes(of some not so old movies to boot) coming out all within a year.

I know there is a Evil Dead remake on the table but nothing has been set yet, no date no stars Just Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell producing. All that is reported is that it wont have Ash in it.

The only movie that I hope they are making from that list is a new Riddick movie. That would be so kickass!

I hadn't heard Halloween was coming out so soon, I just stuck it there because I knew it was being made. The rest of the list is from searching 'remake/remakes/remake 2008/remake 2009 etc. Also found info on sites like Comingsoon.net, also various threads of IMDB.

Completely agree. Enough of the crappy remakes, more original material would be a welcome change. We don't need more of the same garbage hollywood has been spewing over the past 5 years (and they wonder why sales are down).
