Dean has suffered from panic attacks in the past, most significantly the day he took govenorship of Vermont population 600,000.

What happens if he was to win whitehouse and was told he is now responsible for 280,000,000 million people ?

Is this the man we want to lead the nation in a crisis ?

Reacting to news of Gov. Richard Snelling's death in August 1991, Dean told People magazine, "I hyperventilated and I started hyperventilating and I thought, You better stop that or you won't be much good to anybody."

The panic attack was understandable, Dean said. "To suddenly get told that you have responsibility for 600,000 people it provokes a little anxiety."

newsmax.com...

News of this revelation should disqualify him in most peoples mind. Imagine if a nuclear incident were to occur with another major power with Dean at the helm.

Lol, well, it would depend on who his running mate was. If Lieberman were to be his Veep, I think I might vote Dean in the hopes he has a heart attack on his first day and croaks!

Thats why we have a vice president. I can't see Dean as my president, wish there were some better choices...

You know what this shows?

That this is finally somebody who really really has a heart for his job there. Remember when you last time hyperventilated or been in such a situation. I myself had something either when I was damn happy to achieve something or when I realised that I need to get myself together and give 1000%.

Thumbs up for Dean
he ain't doing it as normal business he really has the people in mind. Why else should he panic being there to care for 600.000?

Anybody with me on this thought?

lol nope. We want someone who can be cool under pressure, because the presidency is a very high pressure position. I would prefer my president to react to a situation instead of hyperventalating and passing out, showing, in a diplomatic sense, that our country is weak. If Bush had hyperventalated and passed out after 9-11, we'd be the laughing stock of the world. That would be on Al'Jazeera all of the time. It's just not good sense..

George W Bush's reaction to learning of the second strike by a hijacked jet into the World Trade Center towers, while sitting reading to school children about goats on the morning of 9/11, showed no honesty or leadership whatsoever.

The incumbent 'president' is a shallow, imbecilic corrupt puppet.

Come on people leave Dean alone. He is inferior to Bush but superior to the Democrats. That means he will lose. Just let him do his job.

You don't have to worry if he has a seizure, he ain't gonna make it that far anyways.

And I guess the response should have been crying our complete outrage and yelling? No. He was newly in office and something of that magnitude happens? He stayed calm and collected, showing all of us and those children, that panic or rage was not the way to go. He kept his head, then over time (months) formed a plan and has not waivered in his belief.

While we all seem to go from "oh yeah bomb them" highs to "please stop the killing" lows, while our leader continues on. Not swayed by the political mud that is being thrown, he is still working on and believing the vision for a better, safer world.

That is dedication and follow-thru. That is the kind of leader you want. Not one that might panic during a crisis.

Just my opinion.

No, it is the Bush admin's complicity in 9/11, and inexcusable inaction of the highest order. You have been sucked in.

Why wouldn't Bush be calm he knew it was going to happen.

Yes, how silly of me. I forgot all about the Bush Mafia and the NWO plans. I am just a "blind" and stupid fool, who has been "sucked in".

I forgot that is the standard remark given, or should I say the standard personal attack given...I should have known. I need to "wake up" right? See the "truth"?

1) Since when is speculation the "truth"?
2) When were you able to become both judge and full jury?
3) When did you get the decoder ring to figure out all the "facts" and not be "sucked in?"

Riiiight! Speculation at its best. Now I challenge ANY of you to just speculate ONE THING about Howard Dean and these same "speculators" will want to see the hard facts. Then again, we are all just "sucked in" so what do we know?

Peace

hey, neo? do you remember bob predicting the 2004 race? he said a year ago(that i heard, maybe even sooner), that dean was going to be the guy. he didn't say he'd win, for sure, but he did say the race would be dean vs. bush. looks like he might be right again!

to zeddicus zoolander zoroaster also sprach: bush is a criminal. realise it. it's as plain as day.

You can keep telling yourself that and ignoring the evidence all you want

You want to talk about speculation the whole 9/11 story is one OBL never took responsibility! You Bush fools are the only ones that will never believe he knew it was coming even had a hand in planning it. Just like you followed his WMD lies his Jessica Lynch lies, and every other #ing Lie and piece of propaganda he gives you. He doesn't have to sell it you believe everything Bush says!

1) Since when is speculation the "truth"?

The truth is based on established events and facts. There are a dozen topics at ATS on Bush's reaction when publicly informed of events of 9/11, and the implications of those reactions. There is video evidence. There is evidence of what went down the week before.

2) When were you able to become both judge and full jury?

I didn't. That is what is needed, a full review of the worst national security disaster in US history and why the Bush administration allowed it to happen, and punishment of those complicit and those negligent. Even an explanation from Bush as to why he would say he landed the 'trifecta' he needed with 9/11, to move immediately on the pre-exisiting war plans. Facts again.

3) When did you get the decoder ring to figure out all the "facts" and not be "sucked in?"

It's both innate and a product of schooling and experience.

Alright, first I say...huh? No idea what you said, you can't spell, and it seems you can't read either. Hmmm, related to the billybob name? Naw...

Oh and the playing with my name? Yeah, that was cute. Immature...but cute.

See, unlike you I can believe there has been BOTH good descisions and bad ones. You might say he's a crook as you sit there smoking pot or hugging your sister, both of which are illegal by the way. So, I am sorry that "it" is not plain as day. "It" is speculation and sensationalism.

Why not just say you hate the guy? Fine, that I can take that. But to play some BS game where you make things up and then everyone that doesn't believe you is a idiot?

I think you have some growing up to do regarding the real world.
