Arctic Sea Ice Shrinks to Record Low

There was less sea ice in the Arctic on Friday than ever before on record, and the melting is continuing, the National Snow and Ice Data Center reported.

"Today is a historic day," said Mark Serreze, a senior research scientist at the center. "This is the least sea ice we've ever seen in the satellite record and we have another month left to go in the melt season this year."

Interesting point on the article is :-

"Several years ago he would have predicted a complete melt of Arctic sea ice in summer would occur by the year 2070 to 2100, Serreze said. But at the rates now occurring, a complete melt could happen by 2030, he said Friday"

Now going by the basics of whats happening.

x amount of less ice = x amount warmer water = x amount less reflection = x amount more to recover after melt

Next year - because of sum total of x amounts above = x amount more than last = x amount faster melt as x amount less exists

and so on

which means climate models suggesting that the full melt will occur in 2030 could reduce quicker and perhaps to as little as 2020 or 2015 before the full melt occurs.

Consider also the x amount of action to combat warming cersus the x amount of increasing actions creating the warming

Now i know global warming is perhaps considered a hoax and theory. But que bono ?

Theory means a big maaaybe

If it was FACT, allowed to ba a Fact, then that means peoples countries and groups are responsible more than others for global warming. Mmmm anyone want to start a law suit ?

Same with tobacco - its not harmful its all ok - what happened as soon as science told as cigarretes can and will kill you - Fact! - the law suits began
