sex offenders in the news

Why are sex offenders being sensationalized? Everytime I watch the local news, there is about 10 minutes, at the beginning of the newscast about sex offenders, every night! Why are they over reporting this? Not that I defend sex offenders, but it seems to be a diversion tactic.

Ask yourself this.... what motivates people to give up their liberties?

Fear.

In this case I look at it as more fear tactics as a way to introduce micro chipping your children. It has been discussed MANY times in the mainstream media and it is always presented as a great idea to keep our kids safe from pedophiles. So IMO it is all about fear. Make the public scared for their kids and chip them. It is one step closer to micro chipping everyone.

Why did you put this in aircraft projects.

I am sure this thread has a place, but aircraft projects?

A diversion tactic for what? I'd sure as hell want to know if there was a sex offender here in my area. As for microchipping, no thanks.
