PETA goes after Hamas

news.yahoo.com

JERUSALEM (Reuters) - Animal rights group PETA said on Wednesday it would protest to a Hamas-run TV channel after a clip from a program showing animals being abused appeared on YouTube, prompting scores of complaints from viewers worldwide.

"It's shocking and sickening," said Martin Mersereau, manager of the domestic animal abuse division of U.S.-based People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA).

Its funny because based on the tactics PETA and thier radical splinter groups they also should earn a terrorst lable. So what exactly does PETA hope to acomplish here? It seems that they are reduced to trying to generate publicity at any cost even if it means trying to use Hamas.

Hamas kills people all the time, but the folks at PETA only care when they start abusing animals.

Very telling...

Like I said, they practice terrorism as well. Yes its pretty clear where / who PETA priority lies.

Funny story but true. One night a few years back, a resident and a PETA member proceded to lecture me and a friend of mine who also is a transport specialist on the evils of eating meat. that lecture became a bit personal when he went after us and our eating habits (rabid carnavores). He went off to sleep but he left his oversize PETA mug out in the unit. Well, lets just say that some unknown party ordered up some real sheepskin (We sometimes put premies on it) and some dermabond (Crazy glue) and proceded to glue the sheepsking to the mug so it looked like a weird little shhep with only the PETA logo standing out like a brand. Well this dude was not very happy and started making threats. our medical director shut him up pretty quickly. One of the funniest things we ever did, but his over the top reaction is what I have seen from many of the PETA ilk.

I had my own PETA story... my mother had a friend she knew from work that was into PETA and a vegan and everything. I was talking to her once when she was visiting my mother. I think I struck a raw nerve with her because I eventually exposed some of her hypocrisy by getting her to admit she used insecticide in her apartment rather than, in my words, "live in harmony with the roaches"

I haven't seen her since

Figures. Most of those PETA hypocrites wouldn't be caught dead without their Dock Martins (leather), or Jones NY Jackets (leather)! Seriously, it's actually quite sad.

Funny, I remember (although, vaguely) Pamela Anderson preaching PETA on live media, all the while romping around in leather stilettos.

Isn't it kind of funny; to think of these very same people, in the event of a major catastrophe? In that event, who do you think they'll be stalking? I seriously doubt the 'green bean growers of America'!
