Michael Savage Is Being Attacked!!!

This attack on on Michael Savage by illegal aliens and extremists and groups that support them make me sick.

Now IMO these conservative talk radio show hosts are always tied up and sucked into all of the fear campaigns and unimportant political issues that are plaguing this country. They are usually ignoring, dancing around or just plain ignorant when it comes to the real truth that we are exposed to in these threads everyday. (I had originally posted this in Abovetopsecret so I was referring to the conspiracy threads.)

But

They are the only voice of sanity that have a voice in the mainstream and every once in awhile one of them really shines through.

Michael Savage really hit the head on nail with this one and they are trying to take his free speech away and silence him. I agree with every word that he has said here and he is one of the few that has balls enough to say it.

How many more conservative talk radio show hosts will they try to take down along with are freedom. Please give Michael Savage your support because it looks like are freedom is fading away very quickly.

His shrill rhetoric and maniacal tone make it difficult for legitimate truth-seekers and patriots to be taken seriously. Let me get this straight ...

If he can spout his dreck on national radio, then I think others have the right to speak out against him. Ain't America great? Let's keep it that way and appreciate the fact that everyone is entitled to speak out against whatever they want to here.

Sure they are. But check into it a little further. What they (City of San Francisco officials) are trying to do is sue him and pass various local ordinances that would punish him-that's a clear violation of his First Amendment rights. Government entities do not and should not have the right to supress the opinions of an individual unless they are obvious criminal actions e.g. inciting a riot or panic via speech.

Wow, I am disappointed with some of the replys that I have gotten on this so far. I sorry if some of you feel that way but this is far far from hate speech.

Michael Savage has publicly stated many may times that he supports legal immigrants just not illegal immigrants that have plagued our country.

People can complain, not the government. Protecting people from government censorship is what the first amendment is all about.

Of course you guys are aware that it is a big no no to take care of the illegal immigrant issue because if they where too do that they would have to actually secure the boarders and they wont do that because it will end the illegal drug and weapons trade programs that the CIA/NSA and other agencies have running across our boarders.

Of the two issues at hand, I believe the problem of attempted government control of speech is the larger.

With the possible return of the Fairness Doctrine and city and local governmental attempts to censure Savage, I'm growing more concerned all the time.

Savage may be a joke 70% of the time, but it is quite clear that he is being targeted for his politics. Scary.

That is a big issue of what is going on, and i can't understand if anyone is against him in this case. This is a big first amenment right banner, and worse the city is legislating it, never mind the illigal/legal imigration debate that gets brought into it.

I don't know if you heard what was going on/ saw the tv coverage, but the people on the street were insane, speaking 60% spanish phsyco bable. Spanish chants from an illigal alien mob with voice overs from a crazy lady speaking spanish, and at her best a broken incohert (at best) english.

If you want examples there wasa portion were the women screamed "is dis what you want" about 10 times in a row... City officals manipulating what savage said trying to envoke racetial tentions into the situation, even though he said ablsolutily nothing with reguards to race. And when asked by savage on what part of what he said was racist he skeptics have NOTHING to say. Nevermind the people that attack savage oppently laud Hugo Chavez style of democracy that he is given to Venezuela, and im sure these supervisors in San Franphysco would love to impose Chavez Dictatorship over America.

The citizens of this country HAVE a right to free speach, and every right endowed to an American, that is something that a majority of this mob raging against him in the streets cannot say.

And on a side not, this shows how inept/not caring our federal goverment is on the issue of illigal imigration, where they are not showing up to an event with a majority of illigal aliens and not arest them, unless there is some state/city law that forbids the federal goverment for aresting iligal imigrants. Thier failure to arest these illigals shows either utter failure/bad info on the feds(and this can't be ruled out) or the fact the federal agents and the fredearl goverment just realy don't care that we have 10 million illigal imigrants in this country

Not by default. By design. Liberals aren't born liberal. Noone is. Children are conditioned into the delusions held to be true by modern Liberalism. Most of them grow up and upon emerging from their teenage years realize how distorted their world-view has been, and instinctually reject it. Unfortunately, as we see in San Francisco resulting from mental disorder or impotence, some never escape these depths of insanity. A sad reality indeed. One that harms us all.

I can't wait for the Big One.

So where are the outraged Citizens of San Francisco. Don't you want Free Speech? Do you want Government Controlled Media? Don't you want to hear all sides of an issue before making decisions? Do you want the Government to tell you what to say, think and believe? Your silence is deafening!

Micheal Savage? Phooey. I've listened to his show half a dozen times maybe. Each time, I've been less than impressed. Having said that, he's got every right to say it, and the gov't. of San Francisco or any gov't. for that matter, has less than every right to attempt censorship by legislation.

Who's next? Who gets censored after Savage? Some poor blogger? Us here on ATS, or perhaps I should say some of us here on ATS, given who's behind the ruckus over Savage's comments. To the supporters of this attempt: This is a very dangerous place you are going. Encouraging gov't. censorship?

That is the point a Goverment cannot legislate agaisnt a Citizen, no matter if they agree with what they say or not. These poeople legislating against Savage are sick. This is almost the equivilent of a battle in a civial war. Our constitution is at stake, and its the Good Americans vs the Illigal Alien Hoards.

IF you disagree with everything Savage says, this isn't opinion, even you good libirals have to side with Savage and Free speach right now. Tell your friends of this, becuse the lame-steam is not going to tell you anything. Do not let the Illigals defeat Freedom.
