Laser shot live fire training for Close Quarters Combat

Pretty cool technology. Instead of shooting at targets that just stands there, you have virtual targets reacting either running or taking cover and shooting back to make it as realistic as possible when troops make entry into a building or room.

Yeah, if it didn't cost 300K to do, we'd outfit our IDPA range with it, this thing is totally whack. It's like playing Doom with real weapons.

What they didn't mention is that you can equip your shoot house with the "fire return system" and the images can shoot back at you - there's a paintball robot that will shoot to hit the point the animated bad guys are aiming at. When you see the guy pick up the rifle and give you a burst you end up with bruises.
