Perhaps the U.S. government is finally acknowledging topics that members of online conspiracy dicussion communities have been talking about for weeks. This week, a statement, said to be from al-Qaeda intelligence services, warned the countdown to hit America had begun.

"It will be an even stronger strike than nuclear weapons so be prepared, oh mujahideen holy soldiers," it said.

The statement concluded that unless America and its allies withdrew from Iraq, Afghanistan and all Islamic countries, the organisation had ordered the elimination of US leaders and their supporters.

The Mujahideen Network I believe they are referring to is a Yahoo group...

Other than on some internet sites and this board, I have never seen any reports on TV about the possibilites Al-Queda could have as far as eliminating an entire US city.

Silly question probably, but what man-made attack could be stronger than a nuke ?
