NEW YORK It's not the first time that citizen "investigative journalists" have uncovered some embarrassing, or telling, nugget from the past that apparently remained buried for years. But it has happened again with the posting of a now wildly popular video on YouTube that shows Dick Cheney explaining in 1994 that trying to take over Iraq would be a "bad idea" and lead to a "quagmire."

This video is amazing!

I've never seen such a contradictory video by which some one could be completely cut off at the knees for their later comments.

Here is Dick Cheney speaking the absolute truth about what invading Iraq would be like for the United States and it's likely results for Iraq. He's spot on: Iraq would splinter, large and unjustifiable American military deaths and no international support for it.

Kudos to the guys who dug this video up, just wish it was dug up 4 years ago.
