SCI/TECH: Do Deodorants Cause Breast Cancer?

Traces of Chemical Preservatives in deodorants have been found in Breast Cancer Tumors. Researchers do not see this as the sole cause of breast cancer but may help explain the recent rise in breast cancer cases.


Biologist Philippa Darbre says, "…These results help explain why up to 60% of all breast tumors are found in just one-fifth of the breast—the upper-outer quadrant, nearest the underarm."

Gov fact
According to that article there is no link as so said by the National Institute of Health in the USA officially.

Then again a British source said the link was minimal and insignicant.

At least they agreed to do more studies.
