This really is kind of cool for voters in the 2004 Democratic primary or even Presidential election as Bush is included.

There are two routes: Take the test, ranking your position on issues and let the computer pick your candidate.

Or use the comparison spreadsheet to line up any candidates side by side.

I love it, in spite of the fact the computer picked a candidate I HATE for my 100% match. KERRY :shk:

It really is shocking if you answer honestly and see what comes up. My WORST three matches were all high profile: Dean, Lieberman and Bush (8% match).

TAKE THE TEST! www.presidentmatch.com

Who's your best match? BE HONEST!!!

Edwards, Bush, Kerry, Gephardt and Leiberman round out my top 5 in that order. Seems somewhat close to what I believe.

I tried to cheat by being as moderate as I could in issue ranking and get the computer to pick Edwards (who I like). I managed to get him up to #2 (94%) and even Bush up to 12% (still last)... but that stinking millionaire Kerry stays 100%!!!

Someone take this and see if it's rigged? I'm leaving the Rep/Dem and Military service fields open.

NOTE: Leaving those fields open are the only way to keep Clark in the runnning as he has no stands on issues to rate.

Oh cool, thanks for posting those. Everybody has a little Kerry in them huh?

So Dreamz, your #1 was Edwards and #2 was Bush? That's amazing. What the heck did you put in that thing? Cool though, maybe it's not rigged.

Boo. I want to know if Colonel likes Dean as much as he thinks he does.
Or some Republicans on Bush.

Come on. It's painless.

I got Kucinich too - 100%

9 out of 10 were Dems, with Bush at number 10 with 28%

Ditto, I think the site might be pushing that guy. I got a 5% match for Dubya.

Kucinich here too, the rest were all democrats... except number 10, Bush with 8%

So far, 5 Kucinich, 2 Kerry and an Edwards.

I don't think the site is pushing so much in any particular direction... it's just that these guys have taken strong stands. And each of us must have strong stands.

So maybe it's just that in using an issue based approach to politics (isn't THAT revolutionary) we're all less moderate than we like to think. And the 'waffle' prone candidates don't register as well when you remove the superficial.

It doesn't change my mind, but it does make it more open. I won't be voting Kerry, for example, but I will be listening to what he has to say more.

I knew I liked Lieberman! I got a 100% match with him!
1 Lieberman Score: 100%
2 Kerry Score: 94%
3 Clark Score: 89%
4 Edwards Score: 86%
5 Gephardt Score: 85%
6 Bush Score: 81%
7 Braun Score: 76%
8 Dean Score: 73%
9 Sharpton Score: 68%
10 Kucinich Score: 67%
-----------------------------------
I was surprised Bushie came in 6th. But none of mine are low ranking like 12%. I'm voting for Lieberman in my primary. If he makes it on the dems ticket, I'll vote for him instead of Bush.

(hear that Colonel?)

Clark
Dean

Man that ultra left winger Kucinich, you know he's going to jack up the taxes and I opposed the rollbacks. What's up with this thing? Are there some overall stats too? Im'a go look..

i got
100% Dean
87% kerry
81% edwards

then i went over deans answers, and i found some glaring differences.

Background Checks on Gun Show Purchases Somewhat Favor DEAN
Background Checks on Gun Show Purchases Strongly Oppose ME

Turning Over More Political Authority to U.N. Somewhat Favor DEAN / Strongly Oppose ME

Welfare Benefits for Legal Immigrants Strongly Favor DEAN / Somewhat oppose ME
Immediate Withdrawal of U.S. Troops Strongly Opposes / somewhat favor ME
Raise the Minimum Wage Strongly Favor DEAN / somewhat oppose ME
Extend Unemployment Benefits Strongly Favor / somewhat oppose ME

granted im probably a moron (i put the NuT in Nutroll im told) but it seems to me that i shouldnt have 100% compatability , even if hes the most compatable candidate.
