Dear grover, I have always said that humor is a sign of intelligence. I would have thought that how to kill a vampire was still part of the body of
common knowledge. Take heart, grover, for instead of witnessing the "dumbing down of America", you may just be witnessing the passage of old
knowledge.
For example, I, myself, have plucked a chicken clean and cooked it, but I have not transmitted such knowledge to my sons. Perhaps how to kill a
vampire has become esoteric knowledge. When I discovered my ex-husband was an energy vampire, according to New Age lore, I served him with divorce
papers. That Nosferatu is long gone and never returned.
Sigh...Lon Chaney must be turning over in his grave.
