There was a programme on UK TV, last year methinks, which suggested that most if not all of any sensitive stuff had now been moved away, possibly to White Sands.

Oh, lets not start this again. It's been beaten to death on at least several other ATS threads.

Area 51 is extremely active. The Air Force is continiuing to pour millions of dollars into the base for improvements and expansion of infrastructure. Check out the latest satellite images.

Area 52 is Tonopah Test Range. There are classified programs (EW, UAVs, etc.) going on there as well. Other sites for classified programs have always included China Lake, White Sands, and Point Mugu. In recent years, Lockheed Martin has conducted tests of some of its products at such places as Area 6 (Yucca Flat) and San Nicholas Island.

But Area 51 (Det. 3, AFFTC) is still the premier Air Force test site for Black projects. The base houses an entire Test Wing organization. It hasn't closed down or moved away.

Regarding Lockheed and San Nicolas (NSI), they fly N623BA out there routinely. Flight originate from PMD, VGT, and HND.

Both the TTR and Groom Lake have new construction.

Actually, most of the speculation alleges that most of A51's old activity has moved to Dugway Proving Ground in Utah.

Yeah, but we are actually seeing increased activity at Groom Lake. I don't think anyone has reported increased in activity at Dugway.

The speculation about Dugway doesn't seem to be based on anything more than the ridiculous article that ran in Popular Mechanics several years ago.

SH you would be correct if a recent massive land grab out the yinyang in the lands adjacent to Dugway would not be considered significant activity.

the lead general at the air base near Roswell, New Mexico during the time of the supposed ufo crash said on his death bed that it was an actual ufo that crash landed and that there was real aliens to earth inside, now whether or not this is true could be based on the state of his mental health when he was dying but i have not heard that he was senile or had ol'timers, also many ex-military people have come out and said that they have seen ufo crashes and cover-ups and are fighting congress to have top-secret info released to the public

This subject really HAS been beaten to death and beyond in the forums here. Its quite possible that nothing unusual goes on at Groom lake, and it's just a particularly high profile Air force base.

But wouldnt you like to KNOW once and for all? Anyway, its easier to keep secrets the less people you involve, so if there is any REALLY freaky stuff going on, itll be in a quiet basement lab somewhere - quite possibly under some random front company tower block, like a false bank, or human resources firm. NOT in the global spotlight.
