Something just occured to me. I was looking at a forum on another website and noticed somebody with a sig that said "Anti-Flag : No flags, no nations with borders.."
Now from reading this persons others posts and then thinking about what many liberals I have come across think, I thought; they want a world where there are no individual nations. Where we all live together in 'harmony' under one governing body, the United Nations I should think.
From what I understand about the "NWO", it will be one large world government that will control everything and plunge us all into a new era of pain and suffering yadda yadda yadda yadda.
I have also seen many liberal minded thinkers all over the place accuse George W. Bush, Republicans, and the Right in general of bringing about the NWO. We all know that the Republican ideology is one of limited government. That is at least what they say. We constantly see Repbulicans and Conservatives fighting against Democrats and Liberals. Democrats and Liberals want the government to take a larger role in sovling societies problems. Both sides seem warry of an all powerful government, but isnt it interesting that one the liberal ideals of a world society where we are all united fits the description of the NWO perfectly?
Am I totally wrong in all this? Comments welcome.

You are right. All extremist political groups want world domince in one form or another. Each group wants the world in their vision.

The funny part is that 'Anti-Flag' is a quasi-anacist anti-republican pro-commie liberal social activist rock band.

I am a liberal and I don't want a one world government. I want the most limited government possible if any government at all because in that sense people would be most free to do as they choose. I'm all for freedom and freedom kind of reminds me of the word liberation, which to me means achieving freedom.

Do you think thats what this other person meant? No governments at all? I would come to that conclusion before I came to the conclusion that this particular liberal wanted a OWO. Don't get Democrats and socialism confused with being liberal. Nazi's were socialists but far from liberal.

If you want a limited government and you call yourself a social progressive, I dont think your a dem, I think (not sure) its Libertarian.

Socialism in most cases is used to address commies.

Socialism (the phrase) has been abused so much that it doesnt adheir to its defenition.

Btw, I am a Republican, I belive in multi-nations with a UN (non-currpted however).

hey insight a world with no governmetn at all would be a one world anarchy, but it would only stay like that until some souless monkey screws it up, thats why we won't ahve peace untli there is a one world government, it just ahs to be the proper government, one which does not contorl the lives of people but makes sure the world runs smoothly, not like the current one which makes sure the world runs with turmoil

That's what it says on my voter registration card.

I think before people bash socialism and liken it to communism, I would like to ask if anyone here has lived in a more socialist country like New Zealand or Canada? Because if you haven't then you would not realize that they are great places to live. What you are fed by your parents and friends that helped you form your own opinions is probably lies, disinformation and propaganda that your government spoon-fed you and your companions pre-1989.

Socialism is not communism, which is a corrupted version of socialism that became that way through dictatorial control. Both capitalism and socialism have their pro's and con's. The fact that I'm extremely pro-capitalist does not mean I can't recognize the benefits of socialism. It would be ignorant of me. I suggest you become educated in these systems before you start poking fun at them, it degrades you.

That's why the right spends so much time spreading misinformation and propaganda about to create the illusional vision of the NWO most here subscribe to, whist forming their own version, the real version, through financial control.

The Nazis were Fascists, not Socialists BTW. The Socialist part of their name was a misnomer. Hitlers henchmen went around beating up Socialists and Communists long before he even got into power. He hated Communists.

I agree somewhat agree but disagree with the whole one world government. Anarchy can be achieved, but it would not last. The warlords would come out of the woodwork and there would be chaos. However, if government were kept as limited as possible then wealth flows would flourish and utilitarianism of the individual citizen would provide for socially acceptable behaviour, not the governments rules and regulations that imprison so many people in a corrupt effort to generate more funds for politicians at the top.

I agree. I am also a libertarian(go Harry Browne!). I lived in Germany for many years, and I must say the health care system is 10 times better than here in the U.S.

Don't believe the hype! Sure, they have a higher tax rate, but I never received not one medical bill in the mail. There is no such thing as a deductible. You were received immediately at the emergency room, no 5 hour waiting. Doctors are available for house calls, yes house calls, even on Sunday.

Socialism isn't all that bad, check it out.

Anarchy would be great but soon enough people will tkae power and impose laws then we would have government again...

like all ideologies anarchy works in theory, as done communism and democracy etc etc... however throw in the human factor and coruption occurs then thats the end of the perfect ideology...

i feel a one world government could be good if it isnt corrupt... but the odds are it will be...

Well Langolier,

From my standpoint and from the above posts, it seems many individuals have a certain ideal. Maybe some liberals want a different kind of world society than that of the NWO. I'm sure that viewpoint is out there somewhere. I think though, that everyone wants the same thing: a world where one and their families are safe from harm, and with the community.

To say you're 'totally wrong' would be wrong, as there are always exceptions.

I was metioning that Socialism is a extremely over used word before.

And I do belive there is a problem with socialism. Ie Canada's Military is almost bankrupt; Extremely frequent (more so than US) drug use due to extremly liberal laws which is a threat to the US by the drugs in Canada is going south to the US. There are more, I'm not going to metion because I feel lazy.
