Seems a likely scenario, for either a terrorist attack of false flag attack. But since Debka isn't really credible source, I'm posting it in The Skunk Works.

Well... You gotta admit that this threat notice AND the supposedly harmless emergency message system test on an American national weather website kinda makes you wonder, don't it?

The test message first of all made it clear that it was a test and that you shouldn' take action, but the test scenario they used was actually a huge spill of toxic waste in a major city...

Maybe just a conincidence but hey... some coincidence right?

Well, these day I find it hard to belive these things are just coincidences. And let's not forget Chertoff's 'gut feeling'. Something IS brewing up, but what exactly - it's hard to say.

We've actually had quite a number of interesting events these days:

I mean, WTH???

Don't people understand 9/11 did what they wanted... all Al Qaeda has to do is now threat and bluster without actually doing anything and in spasms of fear we pawn more of our freedoms for a little temporary security, which according to Ben Franklin, a society that does that deserves neither. In fact I maintain these bozos they catch with half baked plans and ideas are part of the pattern and are meant to be caught, just to goose us into digging our own graves just that much deeper.

Most Americans no longer listen to Al Qaeda's "warnings", they are nothing but bluffs. If they wanted to attack us they would be having suicide bombers blowing up in crowded malls/stores, movie theaters, schools, restaurants, etc ... now that would really spread fear.

Yeah, I know what you mean. If Al Qaeda really is what govt/media say, then one must admit it is winning the war in the field of media. Gaining heavy media attention and spreading fear through it is one of the main objectives of any terrorist organization. And media guys know it, and they should be able to fight against it. But they aren't. In fact, it seems they are helping them, purposely or not.

I am worried now, these are real events, and not some date predictions based on numerology or occult symbolism

I also forget to mention the Russian claims of Northern Pole.

And it's all happened in the matter of couple of days, and is still happening. I don't intend to spread fear, but it makes you wonder - what is happening behind the curtains? What is the meaning of this events?

Fox is saying an other mine collapse so there is alot of stuff going on. I don't know what's up but there sure does feel like something is on the uprise,.....is that a word...no it's not

I can tell you that something absolutely huge is going to happen over the next few weeks. Al-Qaeda will strike America very, very soon because the pressure on their safe heaven in Pakistan is getting bigger and bigger.

I've never seen so many al-qaeda warnings in such a short period of time, so know they're up to something gigantic. Reading the breaking news on Debka today sent chills down my spine.

I'm not afraid of bin laden, 9/11 was an inside job. If we have another 9/11 I can promise that our own cia is behind it.

Here is one more line so it is not a 2 sentence response. Bush wnats marshal law so bad he is foaming at the mouth. Just needs one more emergency terror attack so that the bill of rights can be permabanned.

I have no doubt that they're planning something, but I'm wondering if this is just disinformation from the terrorists. I find it hard to believe that they've amassed truckloads of radioactive material to set off as dirty bombs in multiple U.S. cities.

Does it seem plausible that, if Al Qaeda is really back to pre 9/11 strength, and that they have the capability to perform a masssive strike in the US, that maybe they realized that putting out multiple warnings with no action could lull the populace into a false sense of security, and with every warning with no action that we all say "Oh, its just another Al Qaeda video, no big deal, they never do anything."

Perhaps they read The Boy who cries Wolf and thought that it would be a good tactic to use. I'm not inferring that this is the case, but every video we see seems to get dismissed as fearmongering more readily.

IMO something will happen. Whether it is Al Qaeda, or AL CIAda, we all know who will be blamed and that there will be an attempt at Martial Law. Let's hope that enough people can see through the ruse, and stand up for the ideals that your forefathers instilled, and fight for whats right

I call bunk on this one. No one with any sense at all would tell their enemy's what they are going to do ahead of time. It is one thing to threaten to attack it is another thing to tell your enemy HOW you are going to attack. This is total BUNK and I don't believe it for a second.

This whole idea is just absurd!! If I am bank robber. Am I going to call the bank and tell them that I'm coming? NO that would be stupid. If you believe AQ is a terrorist organization that intends to strike against the US (and is not actually working for the US) do you really think they would be so stupid as to tell us HOW and WHERE they are going to attack?

If you answered "Yes" to the above question, do you REALLY now think they were smart enough to plan and execute 9/11?

Something bad is going to happen soon..I just have that bad feeling. Not to sound weird or anything, but I heard Mars is drawing closer and closer to us...(The closest in December)It seems that every time that happens, some big calamity or conflict occurs. I believe that Mars is associated with War in Greek Mythology, from what I heard. So if this is true, well there could be another war or conflict coming soon....

Dropping this kind of info at 10pm on a Friday night is pretty pointless given that most people are either on their way to bed or aren't bothering with the news. This is when you bury news like economic reports that are unfavorable.

Also, this is the best time to detonate a bomb in the eyes of rescue teams. The majority of people are in their homes and commuters are outside of the city.

The DEBKA report isn't specific about the date and time but the NYPD have been, coupled with a lack of alert in Miami and Los Angeles which were also mentioned in the DEBKA report I find it all very odd.
