Dots on the Martian landscape

This is an inquery on some photos that i saw a while back.

THey were satalight pictures from space that captured some areas were there were groups of white dots togheter on the surface of mars. No one has put forth a threoy that makes any sense.

I was watching the BBC video, planet earth, and when it was covering the nesting habits of a bird, it showed a picture from above that duplicated this vissual picture identicly. I cant find picture so i will describe the best i can.

It is a migratory bird that migrates to a flat area, with no trees to lay thier eggs, the birds build thier nests on teh broung, equi-distant from each other nest (just out of pecking range)

The view from above results in a bunch of white dots, grouped together on the open green plane. This view of this imidialty brought to mind pictures from mars of juat about the exact thing. Only on mars the dots were most likly far bigger.

Mikesighn, i think the pics came from one of your threads, i will continuie to serach for pics.

I cannot find the picture f mars that i am talking about, i remember seeing them for sure on this site.

The pictures are satalights pictures of the martian landscape, it captuped a group of white spots on the landscape

If anyone else knows of these images, please post them, i can't find them
